Movie Nights have been a Gamma Xi tradition since 2002. In its original
incarnation, Movie Nights were semesterly events held. In its recent
revival, Movie Nights plan to be held twice semesterly. They include a
showing of a movie, snacks, and drinks all for free, and are open to
members of all the band programs and School of Music. This social event
is a fantastic way to raise the morale of each ensemble by fostering a
pleasant social experience for all. Be sure to check your emails and

Freshman Move-In:
At marching band registration at Early Week, Brothers went to freshman
dorms and aided new marchers in moving into their rooms.
Game Day Subs:
During the marching season, the Gamma Xi Chapter sells low-priced meals
to marching band members for no profit. These meals include sub (with a
variety of options), a choice of a snack, and a choice of drink for just
$5. Orders are placed in the week before a game, and subs are delivered
after the morning game day practice.
Jazz Barbecue:
The Gamma Xi Chapter has regularly held an annual barbecue during the
Jazz Department's outdoor big band concert, providing free food to the
concert's performers.
